VALERIA ANDREONI, PhD
Is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at University of Liverpool (UK) where she is Director of Studies for the BA programme in Business Economics and module leader for Management Economics and Behavioral Finance.
She holds a PhD in Economics from University of Bologna (Italy) and a Master in Ecological Economics and Environmental Management from Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). She is Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and she has been recently awarded the Teaching and Student Experience Award at University of Liverpool.
Her expertise focuses on Ecological Economics, Energy Economics and Degrowth. She is author of peer-reviewed papers and European Commission reports.
Prior to her academic appointments, she has been working for the Joint Research Center of European Commission and for the EuroMediterranean Center on Climate Change.
